Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his heartfelt congratulations to the students, who successfully cleared the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 exams. In a message shared on X, the PM conveyed his immense pride in their achievements and unwavering dedication.
“I am immensely proud of your accomplishment and your relentless dedication,” PM Modi expressed, acknowledging the pivotal role played by supportive families and dedicated educators in shaping the students’ success. He wished them the best for their future endeavours and urged them to remember that this milestone is just one step in their journey.
Addressing those students, who may feel they could have achieved more, PM Modi reassured them of the limitless possibilities awaiting them in the future. “Your future holds limitless possibilities. Focus on what excites and drives you. Your unique talents will lead you to success and fulfilment. Keep pushing, keep pursuing!” he encouraged.
The announcement comes following the declaration of the CBSE Class 12 exam results, which revealed an overall pass percentage of 87.98 per cent, a slight increase from last year. Notably, the pass percentage among girls surpassed that of boys, highlighting the academic prowess of female students. Additionally, the number of high achievers, scoring above 90 per cent and 95 per cent, witnessed a notable rise compared to the previous year.
The board attributed this marginal increase in results to the implementation of competency-based question papers, with 40 per cent of the exam comprising such questions. This reflects the students’ readiness and preparedness for the evolving examination patterns, emphasising their adaptability and academic proficiency.
