Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma recently expressed his concerns about the INDIA Alliance by pointing out potential hindrances due to a lack of a formal resolution process and misunderstandings among partners. On the other hand, he praised the NDA for their commitment to resolving disagreements through discussion and cooperation and for its dedication to addressing internal differences through open dialogue, debate, and seeking common solutions.
As a member of the NDA, Sangma was invited to participate in Prime Minister Modi’s nomination process. He expressed satisfaction with the progress in Varanasi over the last five years and expressed confidence in the continued support of the people for the NDA under PM Modi’s leadership.
Reflecting on the nomination process, Sangma remarked, “We are part of the NDA. All the NDA partners were invited to be a part of the nomination (of PM Modi). We are happy, that in the last nomination also we were invited. We were part of the nomination process. It’s also very nice to see the way Varanasi has changed in the last 5 years. A lot of development has taken place. I am sure once again the people of Varanasi and the people overall will give their trust and faith in the NDA, under the leadership of the Prime Minister.”
