Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticised the Congress-SP alliance in Uttar Pradesh, suggesting they should learn from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath what should and shouldn’t be bulldozed. He warned that if the INDIA bloc came to power, the Ayodhya Ram Mandir might be demolished.
“If the Congress-SP alliance comes to power, the Ayodhya Ram Mandir would be demolished using a bulldozer… They should learn from Yogiji where to run a bulldozer and where not,” remarked PM Modi.
This statement came a day after Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal alleged that Amit Shah and PM Modi were planning to remove Yogi Adityanath as the CM of UP to pave the way for Shah to become the Prime Minister on September 17, 2025, the day PM Modi turns 75.
PM Modi emphasised the contrast between the BJP-led NDA and the INDIA bloc, stating, “Today, you have BJP-led NDA for the betterment of the country on one hand and on the other, you have the INDI alliance to create disturbances. As the polling phases advance, the INDI alliance members are beginning to fall apart.”
He accused the Congress-SP alliance of conspiring to reverse the court’s judgment on the Ram Mandir. “They want to reverse the court’s judgment. I am worried about this because of their track record. They only want their family and power,” he said.
PM Modi further criticised Opposition leaders, claiming they lose sleep when he exposes them. He highlighted Babasaheb Ambedkar’s opposition to religion-based reservation, contrasting it with the Opposition’s actions in Karnataka. “They gave OBC reservations to Muslims,” he noted.
Taking a jab at former Bihar CM and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, PM Modi remarked, “The champion of the fodder scam in Bihar is saying all reservations should go to Muslims. I am asking for 400 seats to protect your voters’ rights.”
In his speech, PM Modi highlighted the BJP’s commitment to maintaining the sanctity of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir and protecting voters’ rights, while questioning the Opposition’s motives and track record.
