Dr Rabha, a revered champion in the battle against superstition, sadly fell victim to the very adversary she tirelessly fought against.
Dr Rabha initiated Mission Birubala from her native village Thakurbila in 2011 and her legacy echoes through her tireless efforts to dispel superstitions and societal prejudices.
During his visit, Sonowal appreciated Dr Rabha’s indomitable spirit, recognising her as a cherished icon in Assam’s cultural history. Reflecting on their conversations, he highlighted her steadfast commitment to societal betterment and women’s empowerment.
