Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen KT Parnaik (retd) has appointed three seasoned leaders as advisors to Chief Minister Pema Khandu. The appointees include MLAs Kamlung Mosang and Alo Libang, along with former minister Bamang Felix.
The official notification specifies that the advisors will serve at the Governor’s discretion and will not be entitled to post-service benefits. Their remuneration and allowances will be governed by prescribed guidelines.
“In the interest of public service, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh has appointed the following MLAs and ex-Minister as Advisors to the Chief Minister, Arunachal Pradesh, with immediate effect,” stated the notification, referencing specific clauses from the appointment guidelines.
This move comes as Arunachal Pradesh launches ‘Reforms 3.0’, a comprehensive initiative aimed at achieving socio-economic transformation across the State. Unveiled during the inaugural State Cabinet meeting, ‘Reforms 3.0’ encompasses 24 citizen-centric initiatives, aligning with the leadership’s vision for a Viksit Arunachal or Developed Arunachal.
Pema Khandu, recently sworn in for his third consecutive term after the BJP secured 46 out of 60 Assembly seats in Arunachal Pradesh, continues to steer the State towards progressive governance and development.
