The discussions encompassed a broad spectrum of sectors, starting with the education department’s deliberations on the Fee Waiver Scheme, aimed at potentially easing financial burdens on students and enhancing educational standards across Assam.
CM Himanta engaged with stakeholders from the Small Tea Growers sector, highlighting the government’s efforts to empower local tea cultivators. This initiative seeks to bolster the State’s tea industry, a crucial economic pillar.
Additionally, attention was directed towards the Garukhuti Agriculture Project, highlighting efforts to enhance agricultural productivity and support farmers across Assam.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister interacted with representatives from Cotton University, emphasising collaborative efforts to strengthen higher education in the state.
