Mountaineer Manita Pradhan from Sikkim’s Soreng has reached another significant milestone in her quest to conquer the Seven Summits by successfully scaling Mt Denali in North America. On June 23, Manita and her team started their ascent at 11am, reaching the summit by 10:30 pm the same day.
Adding to her already impressive record, Manita’s achievement on Mt Denali added to her previous successful ascents of Mt Everest, Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt Elbrus, and Mt Aconcagua. The Seven Summit challenge, which involves climbing the highest peaks on each of the seven continents, showcases her extraordinary determination and skill in mountaineering.
This latest accomplishment not only highlights Manita’s personal dedication but also brings immense pride to her home State of Sikkim. Her success on Mt Denali exemplifies her perseverance and expertise, moving her closer to completing the Seven Summits and earning admiration both locally and globally.
