Starting July 1, State-backed oil marketing companies have reduced the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 30. This means that customers in Delhi will now pay Rs 1,646 for a 19 kg cylinder, compared to the previous price of Rs 1,676. In Mumbai, the new price is Rs 1,598, and in Kolkata, it is Rs 1,756 per cylinder.
This reduction is due to adjustments based on the average international fuel prices and exchange rates. However, there is no change in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders. The prices for these cylinders remain at Rs 803 in Delhi, Rs 829 in Kolkata, Rs 818.50 in Chennai, and Rs 802.50 in Mumbai.
Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) regularly review and adjust cooking gas prices on the first day of each month, aligning them with global market conditions.
