In light of the severe flooding caused by continuous rainfall, Education-Schools Department has declared a closure of all schools on July 5 and 6. This applies to Government, Government Aided, Private, and Central Schools. Zonal Education Officers and DI of Schools have been directed to notify all relevant parties and implement necessary actions.
Tragically, officials reported the drowning deaths of at least two individuals in the Senapati River. The State Government has confirmed that schools will remain closed due to the ongoing flood emergency.
