On the occasion of Nagaland’s Tuluni Festival, celebrated by the Sumi Naga tribe to welcome the new crop and offer prayers for a bountiful harvest, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia extended warm greetings to the people. He expressed his heartfelt wishes for prosperity, happiness, and harmony among all citizens participating in this vibrant cultural event.
In his message, Scindia stated, “I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to everyone – friends, family and all citizens – in Nagaland, on the occasion of the Tuluni festival, which is celebrated on July 8. May this festival bring a bounty of happiness and prosperity, warmth, and stronger family relations amongst every senior citizen across the length and breadth of the State. My best wishes to everyone. Dhanyawaad and Jai Hind.”
The Tuluni Festival, rooted in the traditions of the Sumi Naga tribe, celebrates the arrival of the new crop and offers prayers to thank God for the abundant yield in the preceding year. It is marked by traditional festivities that enhance community bonding and celebrate the region’s rich agricultural heritage.
Jyotiraditya Scindia, who was Civil Aviation Minister in the previous NDA Government, has now been given charge of the Communications Ministry. Scindia is no stranger to this department as he held charge as Minister of State for Communication under the UPA 1 Government.
