In a major breakthrough, Delhi Police, in collaboration with Juria Police in Assam, apprehended Imdad Parvez Musharraf, a notorious cyber criminal. The operation resulted in the recovery of more than 200 SIM cards allegedly used for facilitating cyber crimes.
Musharraf, a resident of Assam’s Juria, stands accused of trafficking approximately 4,000 SIM cards, which reportedly enabled cyber crimes leading to significant financial losses.
Led by the Crime Branch of Delhi Police, the operation culminated in Musharraf’s arrest and efforts are underway to transport him back to Delhi for further legal proceedings.
This development represents a pivotal milestone in the ongoing efforts to combat cyber crimes linked to illicit SIM card usage.
