Tripura will mark a historic milestone with its inaugural kidney transplant scheduled for July 8 at GB Pant Hospital. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, who also oversees the State’s Health Ministry, visited the hospital on July 7, to personally oversee preparations for this landmark procedure.
Dr Saha actively engaged with both the kidney donor and recipient, ensuring meticulous preparation and addressing any concerns. He conducted detailed discussions with attending physicians and hospital staff to verify the operation’s readiness and ensure seamless execution.
This significant development shows Tripura’s commitment to enhancing healthcare services and offering advanced medical treatments to its residents.
