In a candid exchange during a ‘private engagement’ at the official residence – Novo-Ogaryovo – of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the people of Bharat to the former.

“You have dedicated your entire life to serving the Indian people, and people feel it,” remarked President Putin, acknowledging Modi’s dedication. PM Modi responded in affirmation saying, “I have only one goal – my country, the people of Bharat.”
President Putin welcomed “Esteemed PM Modi”, stating, “I am very glad to see you. We will have official conversations tomorrow, but today, in this homely environment, we can calmly talk about probably the same issues – but unofficially.”
President Putin elaborated on Novo-Ogaryovo, describing it as his official residence and workplace, where meaningful discussions took place.
Congratulating PM Modi on his third term, President Putin remarked, “I think this is not accidental, but the result of your work over many years at the head of the Indian Government.”
Putin highlighted Modi’s leadership and Bharat’s economic achievements, noting, “Bharat confidently ranks third in the world in terms of economy. Probably, now it is the largest country in the world in terms of population – 1.4 billion people.”
Discussing Bharat’s demographic trends, President Putin asserted, “There are 23 million births per year in Bharat, the highest figure in the world. This indicates stability and confidence among the people.”
PM Modi expressed gratitude for the warm reception and acknowledged the significance of Bharat’s recent elections, where his government secured a historic third consecutive term.
“The people of Bharat who gave me this mandate… I have served for 10 years in the government and my principle is to reform, implement and transform,” stated PM Modi, reflecting on his tenure and plans for the future.
