In a comprehensive security operation, Manipur Police have set up 125 nakas (checkpoints) across various districts, covering both hill and valley regions. These heightened measures have resulted in the detention of 84 individuals for various violations.

Prioritising the movement of essential items, authorities have ensured the safe passage of 129 vehicles on NH-37 and 244 vehicles on NH-2. Stringent security protocols are in place at all vulnerable locations, with security convoys provided along sensitive routes to ensure the free and safe movement of these vehicles.
