During his two-day visit, PM Modi will engage in talks with Austrian leadership, including Chancellor Karl Nehammer, to explore ways to deepen their bilateral relationship and address various geopolitical challenges.
Additionally, PM Modi will meet with President Alexander Van der Bellen and interact with Austrian CEOs and an Indian business delegation. Both Modi and Nehammer will address business leaders from Bharat and Austria.
Ahead of his visit, the Indian Top leader asserted on the shared values of democracy, freedom, and the rule of law as the foundation for building a closer partnership between the two countries. This statement followed Austrian Chancellor Nehammer’s post on ‘X’, expressing his anticipation for PM Modi’s visit and highlighting its significance in celebrating 75 years of diplomatic relations between India and Austria.
Modi responded to Nehammer’s remarks, expressing his honour at visiting Austria and looking forward to discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral bonds and exploring new avenues of cooperation. He reiterated that the shared values of democracy, freedom, and the rule of law will serve as the bedrock for an increasingly close partnership between the two nations.
