Scindia aligns these efforts with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat vision, emphasising bamboo as the Green Gold of the Northeast. The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) echoes this sentiment, advocating for investment and empowering artisans through training and market access.
In Shillong, Scindia plants a tree under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative, promoting environmental sustainability. He also engages with women farmers, acknowledging their pivotal role in agriculture and community development.
Scindia expressed optimism in the NERACE platform’s capacity to connect these farmers with global markets, potentially boosting Bharat’s agricultural exports.
Every step counts in our collective journey towards a greener, sustainable India.
