The Manipur Cabinet, headed by Chief Minister N Biren Singh, has approved an integrated management plan aimed at conserving and sustainably managing the vital Loktak Wetlands. This decision was made during a meeting held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat today.
Chief Minister N Biren Singh shared updates from the cabinet meeting via microblogging site X, highlighting various deliberations including policies for VDF transfer and the Manipur Private School Regulation Act. He also announced that the state Assembly session is scheduled to commence on July 31, 2024.
Under the BJP-led NDA Government, Singh emphasized a unified approach among ruling MLAs to promote peace and address core issues in the state. Measures are being implemented to ensure lasting peace and stability.
