Nagaland has been awarded the prestigious Agriculture Leadership Award 2024 for its remarkable achievements in horticulture. The accolade was presented at the 15th Agriculture Leadership Conclave in New Delhi recently, where Women Resource Development & Horticulture Minister Salhoutuonuo Kruse accepted the award on behalf of the State.
Minister Kruse asserted that Nagaland’s success in horticulture is attributed to the implementation of innovative programs and policies, which have significantly enhanced agricultural productivity and benefited farmers and rural communities.
In her acceptance speech, Kruse stated, “We are deeply honoured to receive this award, which underscores our commitment to sustainable horticulture practices and rural development.”
The Agriculture Leadership Award acknowledges the exceptional contributions of States and individuals to agriculture and related sectors.
