Adil Hussain, whose character remains unidentified in the trailer, terms Suhana’s appointment at a young age in the bureaucratic IFS organisation as unusual. The story unfolds with suspicions of espionage and leaked confidential information, complicating Suhana’s already challenging career path.
The narrative introduces Suhana as a St Stephen’s College and Harvard University graduate, confronting skepticism from colleagues who question her competence, suggesting her success stems from nepotism rather than merit.
Adding to the intrigue is Gulshan Devaiah’s character, an undercover agent demanding sensitive documents from Suhana, leading to a tense exchange questioning trust and betrayal.
The plot hints at internal leaks jeopardising the lives of government agents, while Suhana’s mysterious disappearance for 24 hours intensifies the suspense. The trailer concludes with Suhana’s defiant resolve not to surrender, despite being ensnared in a complex web of intrigue.
Directed by National Award-winner Sudhanshu Saria and produced by Vineet Jain, “Ulajh” also stars Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, and features a script co-written by Sudhanshu Saria and Parveez Shaikh, with dialogues penned by Atika Chauhan.
