Tripura BJP General Secretary Bipin Debbarma expressed confidence in securing victory in the upcoming three-tier panchayat elections scheduled for August 8, highlighting the party’s successful submission of nomination papers for all its candidates.
According to Bipin, the BJP’s extensive development efforts and strong public trust will ensure their success in the elections.
Bipin stated, “Today marks the deadline for filing nomination papers for the panchayat elections in Tripura. Amid vibrant rallies across the state, featuring prominent leaders like Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and BJP State president Rajib Bhattacharya, our candidates have completed the nomination process. We are prepared for victory because the BJP and our government are committed to the development of all communities, earning us substantial support and trust from the people.”
Addressing Opposition allegations that the BJP is obstructing CPIM and Congress candidates, Bipin dismissed these claims as unfounded and intended to tarnish the party’s reputation.
“Our commitment to democracy is unwavering. For instance, in Kakraban under Gomati District, our party workers and leaders warmly welcomed Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman and their candidate with roses. The BJP stands against violence and respects the democratic process. Opposition parties have also managed to submit their nomination papers,” he added.
