Bidurbhai, the new Assamese film, has achieved a noteworthy milestone, amassing ₹1.24 crore in its opening weekend, marking a historic achievement in Assamese cinema. Released on July 19, the film has garnered exceptional response from audiences throughout Assam.
During its first three days, ‘Bidurbhai’ was showcased in 179 theaters across the state, with nearly every screening selling out immediately. Advance ticket sales, which began three days before the release, saw most shows become fully booked in record time, accentuating the film’s high demand.
Directed by Subrata Kakati and produced by Rootstock Entertainments, ‘Bidurbhai’ boasts a talented cast including Sumki Kachari, Bolin Bora, Ujjwal Rajkhowa, Trilokya Baruah, Neetu Khanikar, and Pankaj Mahanta among others.
