Tripura Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha highlighted the Union Budget for 2024-25 as an inclusive and visionary plan for the nation’s development. He emphasised its focus on the upliftment of marginalised groups including the poor, youth, farmers, and women.
Describing the budget as truly people-oriented, Dr Saha expressed gratitude towards Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for presenting a comprehensive financial plan. “This budget is crafted for the holistic development of the poor, youth, women, and farmers,” Dr Saha remarked.
Highlighting the budget’s priorities, Dr Saha mentioned significant allocations towards infrastructure and skill development. “Employment generation has been given special emphasis, reflecting the overall goals of this year’s budget,” he noted.
Dr Saha praised the unprecedented nature of the budget, calling it a historic move for the nation. “This budget is unlike any we have seen before, focusing on inclusive growth and overall development for key demographics,” he asserted.
Concluding his remarks, Dr Saha projected the Union Budget 2024-25 as a foundational step towards achieving a 5-trillion dollar economy. He believes it will serve as a crucial catalyst in realising the dream of a developed and inclusive Bharat.
