Christian Kaelin, Chair of Henley & Partners, commented on the expanding global mobility gap. “The global average number of destinations travelers can access visa-free has nearly doubled from 58 in 2006 to 111 in 2024. Yet, the disparity between the highest and lowest ranked passports has never been greater,” he stated.
The Henley Passport Index, which has been tracking global mobility for 19 years using exclusive IATA data, is the leading tool for passport ranking. It provides real-time updates throughout the year to reflect changes in visa policies.
