The DGP stressed on the need for stringent measures against those causing unrest and asserted on the importance of maintaining peace and tranquility. He also highlighted the need for effective deployment of central forces and the Tripura State Rifles.
The DGP advised SPs to remain vigilant regarding ethnic and communal tensions and to take proactive measures to prevent further escalation. DGP (Intelligence) Anurag Dhankar also emphasised the importance of meticulous management of security leading up to the panchayat elections, urging improved coordination among security personnel.
