Ranveer Singh has announced an eagerly awaited collaboration with director Aditya Dhar for his upcoming film, marking his first-ever project with the filmmaker.
The actor shared the news on X with a striking black-and-white photo collage featuring Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Aditya Dhar, and Arjun Rampal, all clad in black and showcasing somber expressions.
While details about the film and its release date remain under wraps, the announcement has generated significant excitement among fans.
In his post, expressing his gratitude to his fans for their patience, Ranveer stated, “This one is for my fans, who have been so patient with me and been clamouring for a turn like this. I love you all, and I promise you, this time, a cinematic experience like never before. With your blessings, we embark on this great, big motion picture adventure with spirited energy and pure intent. This time, it’s personal.”
This announcement follows a string of projects that have been shelved in recent months, including Prashanth Varma’s Rakshas, S Shankar’s remake of Anniyan, Basil Joseph’s Shaktimaan, Karan Johar’s Takht, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra. Despite these setbacks, Ranveer Singh remains a prominent figure in Bollywood, with notable projects on the horizon.
He is set to headline Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 and star in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, alongside a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and Shweta Tiwari. His recent appearance in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani alongside Alia Bhatt was well-received.
In addition, Sanjay Dutt will be featured in Welcome To The Jungle with Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, and Disha Patani, set for release on December 20. He will also star in Housefull 5, alongside Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan, scheduled for June 6, 2025. Dutt’s romantic comedy-drama Ghudchadi, directed by Binnoy K Gandhi, will premiere on JioCinema Premium on August 9.
Arjun Rampal is slated to appear in the second season of Netflix India’s Rana Naidu, joining Rana Daggubati. He was recently seen in the action film Crakk with Vidyut Jammwal.
