Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio engaged in a productive meeting with General Officer Commanding (GOC) Spear Corps, Lt Gen HS Sahi, focusing on security, peace, and development in the state. The discussions took place on August 2 at the Chief Minister’s office, as reported by the Assam Rifles.
During the meeting, Lt Gen Sahi highlighted the Army’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding Nagaland and its residents. He acknowledged the Nagaland government’s ongoing support for army operations and initiatives, which has been instrumental in their efforts.
Following the meeting, Lt Gen Sahi also visited the headquarters of the Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) to assess their operational readiness and preparedness.
