Tripura Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP is set to enhance its organizational strength in the State through successful implementation of various developmental projects, stated State in charge Dr Rajdeep Roy during a press conference.
Roy further declared, “The current government has effectively addressed the hopes and aspirations of the people of Tripura. The BJP will achieve substantial organisational strength in the State in the near future.”
Roy, alongside State BJP chief Rajib Bhattacharya and other party leaders, visited the Mata Tripurasundari Temple in Udaipur to commence organisational activities by offering prayers.
“The BJP has governed Tripura twice and has been in power at the centre since 2014. Historically, Tripura faced political neglect, leading to a government change in 2018 when the BJP took office,” Roy noted.
He highlighted the significant changes that have occurred since the BJP Government took over. “Many residents have received government housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and efforts will continue to ensure that all eligible individuals receive their housing benefits,” he added.
Roy also emphasised improvements in infrastructure, stating that 83 per cent of households now have access to drinking water through the Jal Jeevan Mission. “The Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana has facilitated the construction of village-to-village roads in Tripura, leading to considerable progress in infrastructure. Rail services have improved, and the State is advancing,” he said.
Looking ahead, Roy expressed optimism that the State Government will continue to meet the expectations of Tripura’s residents. He also informed party workers of his plans to visit booth levels and discuss with party leaders in Delhi the possibility of establishing an AIIMS-style hospital in Tripura.
