PM Modi took to X to announce his own profile picture change and encourage others to participate in the nationwide movement. He urged everyone to celebrate the Tricolour and share their selfies on the dedicated campaign website, harghartiranga.com.
“As we approach this year’s Independence Day, let’s make Har Ghar Tiranga a memorable movement. I have updated my profile picture and invite you all to join in by doing the same. Please share your selfies on https://harghartiranga.com,” posted PM Modi.

Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah appealed to the public to engage in the third edition of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, asserting its role in uniting the nation.
“PM Narendra Modi’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign has become a national movement, encouraging unity among Indians across the country. I encourage everyone to participate enthusiastically once again. Hoist the Tiranga at your homes, take a selfie, and upload it on the Har Ghar Tiranga website: https://harghartiranga.com,” mentioned Shah.
Launched by PM Modi two years ago as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign aims to instil patriotism and raise awareness about the Indian National Flag. The initiative encourages people to bring the Tiranga home and display it, celebrating the 75th year of Bharat’s independence.
